Reactive, anxious or overwhelmed dog?

One-to-one behaviour coaching for dogs struggling with barking, reactivity, anxiety, over-arousal, pulling, or emotional overwhelm with structured, force-free support designed for real life.

If you are exhausted by trying to hold everything together, constantly second-guessing what your dog needs, or feeling like nothing you have tried is truly helping, you are in the right place.  Let me take the confusion out of it by helping you understand what is really driving your dog’s behaviour and create a realistic plan that helps both of you move forward with more clarity and confidence.

Living with a struggling dog can feel incredibly isolating

You may be dealing with:

  • Barking or lunging at dogs, people, visitors or noises
  • A dog that cannot settle or switch off
  • Constant pulling, over-excitement or frustration on walks
  • Anxiety at home or out in the world
  • A rescue dog struggling to cope
  • Multiple behaviour issues happening at once
  • Feeling emotionally drained, embarrassed, or stuck
  • Worried that your dog might do you or someone else harm
  • The fear that life is getting smaller because of your dog’s behaviour

Many of the clients I work with have already tried classes, advice from social media, or previous trainers and still feel overwhelmed by what is happening.

Behaviour is rarely just about obedience. Often there is something much deeper driving what you are seeing day to day.

How Behaviour Coaching Works

Step 1 - Free Consult

We begin with a free 20-minute Zoom consult where we discuss what is going on with your dog, the challenges you are facing, and whether I am the right fit to help you both.

This session gives you options on how to move forward should you wish to.  There is never any pressure to book.

Step 2 - Behaviour Consultation & Assessment

All one-to-one behaviour coaching begins with a detailed Behaviour Consultation held online via Zoom.

This 90-minute consultation includes detailed history taking, behaviour assessment, video review, personalised recommendations, vet consult and a written behaviour plan tailored specifically to your dog and home life.

Step 3 - Coaching & Support

Following your consultation, we work together through a structured coaching plan designed to help you successfully implement everything in real life with ongoing guidance, troubleshooting, and progress support.

After each session I will provide actions steps for you to work on.  These are delivered to your very own personalised training app.

You will also have unlimited access & support from me via WhatApp between our sessions.

Available wherever you are in the world online or face to face if you are local - The results are the same regardless of approach

Behaviour support that looks beyond the surface

People generally focus on the behaviour displayed, rarely what is causing it and assume more obedience is required.  For reactive, anxious and overwhelmed dogs, many are struggling with stress, frustration, uncertainty, emotional overload, poor coping skills, or system exhaustion that affects how they experience everyday life and therefore the behaviours they display.

That is why my approach focuses on understanding the whole picture, your dog’s emotional wellbeing, routines, environment, breed traits, stress levels, triggers, and daily experiences rather than simply trying to suppress behaviours.

Using practical coaching, force-free methods, and realistic support tailored to your individual dog, we work together to create meaningful progress that feels achievable in real life, not just in training sessions.

Testimonial

"Tracy was the third trainer who we turned to for help with our overexcitable and reactive GSD. She was the first to provide a clear structured pathway to achieving calmer trips out and increasing Luna's confidence in different settings. Tracy has a contagious calm manner and was an excellent coach, paying close attention to how I handled Luna and guiding me carefully to the best approach. The impact that she has had on our quality of life has been enormous, and I cannot recommend her services enough." ~ Louise & Luna

Hi I'm Tracy

I specialise in supporting reactive, anxious, sensitive and overwhelmed dogs using kind, force-free methods rooted in emotional understanding, practical coaching, and real-life behaviour support.

My work focuses on helping owners make sense of behaviour that feels confusing, stressful, or emotionally exhausting by creating realistic plans that support both the dog and the human behind the lead.

I have professional certifications in areas including reactivity, canine trauma and rescue dogs, separation anxiety, and noise sensitivities, alongside over 35 years of leadership and coaching experience supporting people under pressure and high emotional stress.

Together, these shape the calm, structured and compassionate approach at the heart of Dogwarts which is helping owners feel clearer, more confident, and better equipped to move forward with their dog.
